About Rhondda
Australian composer, Rhondda Howland is a Queensland based musician with a background in music education. She holds a BA (Mus Ed) and A Mus A (piano), both achieved while studying at the Qld Conservatorium of Music.
Strongly reflected in all her work is her love of melody. Her music is easily playable for the intermediate harpist, and can be enjoyed by a professional player.
Recently, Rhondda has recorded her first album, written a composition for the Harp Society of Qld Ensemble, and continues to write lever harp music for special occasions.

Rhondda has written over thirty solos for the lever harp and also writes and arranges for the Queensland Harp Society Ensemble. Her music is very diverse and is suitable for many occasions/special events such as Graduations, High Teas, Weddings, Funerals, Corporate Functions, Fundraisers, etc, as well as in Healing Therapies.
Recently Rhondda recorded her first album “My Harp In Paradise” and is currently working on her second. She performs at events on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. She regularly performs her own compositions for Brisbane Parliament House functions.
Her pieces “Urban Girl” and “Sunset Tango” have been included in the new AMEB Harp Syllabus.
